 NEVA JEAN GIBSON, 81, of Barboursville, formerly of Sharples, W.Va., went home to be with Jesus Sunday, June 2, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by Rev. Chelcie Gibson and Rev. Joe Lane. Burial will be in Lucian Adkins Cemetery. She was born January 7, 1932, in Branchland, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lucian and Letha Porter Adkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Gibson; one daughter, Willa Jean Steinberg; and one grandson, Brian Gibson. She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Bill Mullins of Madison, W.Va., Vicky and Doug Brown of Blair, W.Va., Marcie and Rod Rollins of Chapmanville, W.Va., and Kim Gibson of Barboursville, W.Va.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chelcie and Bobbi Gibson of Huntington, W.Va., and Roger and Carol Gibson of Barboursville, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, Tawnya Gibson, Lauren Gibson, Billy and Ryan Mullins, Ali Steinberg, Amanda Kish, and Cole and Cody Brown; three great-grandchildren, Maddie and Marlie Mullins and Alivia Kish; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special caregivers, Gloria White and Jada Scarberry. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 5, 2013, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
