Lillie Mae FosterLillie Mae Foster, 85, of Barboursville, passed away Friday, November 8, 2013. She was born June 19, 1928 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Deward and Euna Ferguson Simpson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clement Vincent Foster and one sister, Rosetta Carol Bailey. She is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Maupin, Overland Park, Kansas, two sons, Mike Foster of Kansas City, Missouri, and Patrick Foster of Barboursville; two sisters, Frances Lusk of Kansas City, Missouri, and Bess Osborne of Barboursville; two brothers, Robert Simpson of Kenova, and Gary Simpson of Barboursville and a special sister-in-law, Elena Simpson; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Lillie was a devoted mother and grandmother and caregiver to her special needs son, Patrick. She was also an animal lover who enjoyed weekend trips with her family. For many years, Lillie and her late husband CV were owner/managers of The Senator Hotel, The Kansas Citian Hotel, and The Aladdin Hotel in Kansas City, Kansas. Memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov 12 by Rev. David Cardwell. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Nov 12 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
