 JUANITA MARIE “AUNT BONNIE” AYERS, 90, of Huntington, W.Va., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at home. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, W.Va., with Albert Yester officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. “Bonnie” was born October 10, 1926, in Mason County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Clayton Isaac and Rosie Bell Lowe Jones. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Russell “Junior” Ayers Jr.; four sisters, Norma “Ginny” Judy, Irene “Neen” Cremeans, Thelma Yester and Carrie “Tootie” Handshaw; four brothers, Linville Clinton “Bill” Jones, Mars Everett Jones, Richard Clayton Jones and Clarence “Junior” Jones; and nieces Bonnie Lorraine Scites Franklin and Linda Scites White She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace. |

I wish to express my condolence to the family of Bonnie. I visited her from Texas at Thanksgiving and she was in good spirits. We had a good conversation and she was happy that I came to visit her. She was sad at the passing of her Niece, Bonnie. I have known Bonnie these last 20 years and she was such a kind hearted person. I loved her. Sincerely, Donna
