1954 - 2018
Patrick Lee Chapman went to his heavenly home July 17, 2018, at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. He was born March 28, 1954 and was preceded in death by his parents, Carl E. Chapman and Mildred Settle Chapman; grandparents Hartzell and Ruth Chapman and Frederick and Minerva Settle; brother, Alan B. Chapman, and sister-in-law, Donna Dailey Chapman. He is survived by brothers David G. Chapman (Linda), of Ona, Michael E. Chapman (Terry), of Shepherdsville, KY; sister Carla Chapman Dunlap (Gary) of Milton and sister-in-law, Sharon Sowards Chapman of Fernadena, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of Milton Baptist Church since 1966 and was a 1972 Milton High School graduate. Funeral services will be Friday, July 20, 2018, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Tracy Mills, following a 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. visitation at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Burial follows at Forest Memorial Park. The family thanks Genesis Putnam Care Center for 16 years of care, CAMC Putnam for their ICU, Wallace Funeral Home, Milton and every friend that showed him love in his 64 years of life. He has a new body now with his Savior, Jesus Christ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice House in Huntington which gave Patrick excellent care.
