James Donald Frazier, 86, of Ona, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 27, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Chris Fulks. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born October 22, 1931 in Wayne County, a son of the late Curtis Thompson and Odessa Pauline Reed Frazier. He served in the United States Army. He was a member of the NRA, Ducks Unlimited, and an avid sportsman. He was a welder with Ensign Electric, ACF Industries and J& L and held various welding certifications. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Johnson Frazier. He is survived by three daughters, Donna Miller (John), Brenda Reed (Archie) and Karen Burgess (Donald); one brother, Robert Frazier; five grandchildren, Jason Miller (Kierstin Dennis), Melissa Reed (Carlton Gainey), Travis Reed (Lindsey), Dawn Callaway (Eric), and Sarah Miller; six great-grandchildren, Hannah and Addison Callaway, Trace, Levi, and Hudson Reed and Lainey Gainey; and five nieces. Special thanks to Hospice of Huntington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Huntington, P.O. Box 464, Huntington, WV 25709. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
