Veronica Joy Bailey, 62, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, with Rev. James Jobe officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born July 21, 1956 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Donald H. Young and Norma Jean Christian Young. She was also preceded in death by one son, John Anthony Adkins Young, one sister, Carla Yvonne Young, her first husband, Wendell Adkins and her second husband, Michael Bailey. She is survived by one daughter, Michelle Angelique Bailey; two sons, Donald (Janet) Adkins and Wendell (Jacqueline) Adkins; four sisters, Brenda (Donald) McKenzie, Trella Harmon, Cathy Crabtree and Crystal St. Clair; one brother, Greg (Arlene) Young; four grandchildren, Anthony (Jade) Adkins, Kierstan Adkins, Daniel Adkins and Joseph Tyler Lucas; one great grandchild, Aris Adkins; a niece and her husband with whom she resided, Amy and Shawn Cochran and several nieces and nephews.
