Richard Linwood Seay Jr., 76 of Milton, WV, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Steve Hinkle officiating. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. He was born September 3, 1942 in Richmond, VA, a son of the late Richard L. Seay Sr. and Francis Roberts Seay. He was veteran of the US Navy, a member of the American Legion Post #139, Milton, the V.F.W., and D.A.V. He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Helfrish. He is survived by his wife, Cherlyn Joyce Spencer Seay; one daughter, Lori Brown of Richmond, VA; four sons, Cliff Seay (Nancy) of Kings Bay, GA, Harry Bowles Jr. (Kathy) of Fayetteville, WV, Timmy Bowles (Shelley) of Ona, WV, and Anthony Bowles (Heather) of Elkview, WV, fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
