Kristie Dione Sutphin Hammond Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1973 - 2019 Kristie Dione Sutphin Hammond, 46, of Ona, W.Va., passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. She was born on May 9, 1973 in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of Debbie and Jackie Lawhorn. She is survived by four daughters, Angelina Sutphin, Kara Freeman, Josie Freeman (Sam Kinder) and Layla Sutphin and her father, Jimmy Ellis; one son, Ryan Sutphin (Jordan Pruett); two sisters, Angela Reynolds (Bob) and Debbie Jean Woods (Joe); four grandchildren, Gage Oldaker, Carlee Freeman, Tristan Freeman and Bryson Kinder. She is preceded in death by one son, Michael Sutphin. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2019 at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Kristie was always so much fun to be around. I was head over heels for her son Michael. My favorite memory was when I was assistant manager at Halloween City 2016, she and Michael came to see me. The laughter, the smiles, and good time we had in that, maybe 2 hours is my last image of both of them. I’ll never forget how happy we all were in that moment! I’ll never forget these amazing people and what a blessing it is to have been in their lives. I will do anything for the family. I love you all.
