Flaura “Flo” Leola Lambert, 99, of Huntington, W.Va. passed away peacefully on September 3, 2019 in Savannah, Ga. Aunt Flo was loved by many nieces and nephews and was an angel on this Earth and is now with the heavenly angels. Born in Leet, W.Va. April 6, 1920, Flo was the daughter of the late Reverend Andrew "Andy" and Tasney Skeens and one of twelve brothers and sisters: brothers Ray Skeens, Roy Skeens, sisters Emma Dolan, Gracie Vance, Octavia Skeens, Alma Cummings Lewis, Macie Farley, Dovetta Farley, Vivian Reed, Eunice Catolico and Arbrea Vannatter. Aunt Flo was preceded in death by her loving husband Hobert Lambert and son Jerry Lambert and survived by her son Hobert Lambert, Jr.; grandchildren Mark Lambert, Chris Lambert, Jerry Lambert, Jr.; great-grandchildren; and her niece, Mary Templeton who has so lovingly cared for Aunt Flo the past eight years. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Final resting place will be at the family plot in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. noon prior to the service.
