Sammy Clarence Epling Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1947 - 2019 Sammy Clarence Epling, 72, of Huntington, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. He was born on August 20, 1947 in Cabell County, a son of the late, Leonard and Lessie Harvey Epling. He is also preceded in death by five brothers. He is survived by his life long friend and companion, Mary Preston; one son, Samuel Epling; one sister, Betty Chapman (Charley) and one brother Merlin Smith. Gravedside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2019 at the Harvey Cemetery, Branchland. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace

My love and prayers to my family. I am sorry that I couldn't be there. I have many fond memories of Uncle Sammy. He will be missed.

Sam is a wonderful person I will always remember the fun we all had riding & flea marketing together!!! I’m sure him & Daddy are hangin out in heaven tellin stories and waiting for us to get there!!!
