Joan Kay Hamlin, 69, of Barboursville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 15, 2019. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Baylous Cemetery with Rev. David Kitchen officiating. She was born January 5, 1950 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late George K. and Ada Johnson Dillman. She was an employee of Chick-fil-A. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Hamlin, two daughters, Mary Hamlin and Malinda Hamlin, and one brother, William Kendrick. She is survived by one daughter, Gina Hamlin of Barboursville; one sister, Karen Thompson of Huntington; and three grandchildren, Kevin Shawn Hamlin, David Todd Hamlin and Alicia Nicole Brook Hamlin, two special nephews, Kenny Johnson and Jason L. Johnson; and all her friends and co-workers at Chick-fil-A. There will be no visitation. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, in charge of arrangements.
