Dianna Lynn Smith Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1956 - 2020 Dianna Lynn Smith, 63 of Barboursville, passed away May 15, 2020. She was born December 24, 1956 in Barboursville, a daughter of the late Norman and Mildred Johnson Childers. Dianna was a realtor with Debi Reynolds, Realty Exchange. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Gary Childers. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, John R. (J.R.) Smith; son, Brad Williams (Francine) of Seattle, WA; stepchildren, John R. Smith, Jr. (Angie) of Huntington and Kimberly Bacon (Bob) of Lithia, FL; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Ryan, and Gabe; and one brother Kenny Childers of Huntington. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Due to the current health concerns, the family requests that you please respect social distancing during visitation. My heart breaks for Diana's passing as she was such a memorable and delightful person. Knowing of Diana at work for many years but finally sharing a bond of friendship in workng together in Test Reports at INCO, JR, take comfort in knowing that you were the love of her life and Brad, she was so very proud of you. I am grateful that I was able to know Diana as she made things a little brighter and I loved her delightful mischievous spirit. Gone to young and way to soon.
