Joe Alan HoweJoe Alan Howe, 66, of Barboursville, WV, formerly Catlettsburg, KY, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born July 2, 1954, in Ukiah, California, a son of the late Robert (Bob) and Mary Chappel Howe. He missed so much his loving wife, Ruth Lyons Howe who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Tonya Lynn Adams; and brother, Jack Howe. He is survived by three daughters, Tassy Holley of Barboursville, WV, Lori Baker (Mike) of Mooresville, IN, and Erin (Jeff) Foos of Kansas, Ohio; one son, Alan “AJ” Howe of Rising Sun, OH; seven grandchildren, Austen and Ethan Holley, Katie and Cooper Baker, and Carlie, Cassidy and Chloe Foos; two brothers, Steve Howe of Fremont, OH and Scott (Linda) Howe of Walbridge, OH; sister-in-law, Karen Howe of Glassboro, NJ; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was retired from Air Liquide. He enjoyed watching golf, football, especially Ohio State and Cleveland Browns, who were his favorite teams. He also enjoyed watching Austen & Ethan play sports and spending time with them and their friends and giving his advice. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all of our friends and family and for their love and support and to the Fresenius Kidney Care Home Therapy Staff in Ashland, KY for their compassionate care. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, WV. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
