Douglas McArthur Smith, 76, of Milton, WV, passed away February 21, 2022, at home. He was born March 26, 1945, in Huntington, WV, a son of the late William Garfield and Nevada Smith. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Dawn Sailors. He is survived by his children, Teresa Fay Ward, Joy Christina Francis, Deborah Jean Davis, William Smith, and Tammie Renee Freeman; fourteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Greg Lunsford. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Hurricane, WV.
