Joyce Irene Stephens Stull, 89, of Lancaster, SC, formerly of Barboursville, WV, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022. She was born December 13, 1932 in Huntington, WV. She was the daughter of the late Boyce and Eva McMellon.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil M. Stephens, and second husband, Clark Stull; brothers Don McMellon and Thurman McMellon; sister Jewel Bledsoe; and grandson Brandon Stephens.
Survivors include her son Raymond Stephens of Daytona Beach, FL; son Richard Stephens (Deidra) of Marietta, GA; daughter Kay Woods (Al) of Lancaster, SC; sisters Betty Beckett (Buddy) of Barboursville, WV; Shirley Garrett of Proctorville, OH; brother Bernie McMellon of Proctorville, OH. Grandchildren are Kristen Fulton (Charlie) of Chester, SC; Jennifer (Scott) Young of Atlanta, GA; Rachel Stephens of Marietta GA; Joshua Stephens of Big Sky, Montana; Kelly Stephens of Huntington, WV. She is also survived by two great- grandchildren, Jack & Nick Fulton.
Joyce was a secretary at Barboursville Junior High for many years.
