Freda Gayle Adkins Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1942 - 2023 Freda Gayle Adkins, 81, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2023 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Jeff Lycans. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery. She was born February 17, 1942 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Thomas and Iva Stapleton Rutherford. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul B. Henderson and Robert Lee Adkins; one sister Margaret Leffingwell; and one brother Fred Rutherford. She is survived by her children, Kathy (Jim) Lyles, Rhonda Ashworth, Tina (Joe) Webb, Steve (Regina) Henderson, and Randy Ashworth; two step-children Robert Dewayne (Sherry) Adkins and Jimmy Lee (Melissa) Adkins; sister, Virginia (Bob) Morrison; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wallace Funeral Home. Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
