 Donald Ray Gibson, 93, joined his loving wife, Ramona, in Heaven on Thursday, May 30, 2024. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Jesse Lacy. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was preceded in death by his son, Donnie, grandchildren, Mike and Sheila Bartram, as well as his parents and several siblings. He is survived by his daughter Kay (Dave) Dick, his son Steve, grandchildren Melissa, David and Billy Dick, and several great- and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Thelma Thacker and Rhetta Skaggs, and brother Glenn Gibson. Donald was a long time member and deacon at Bowen Ridge Church. His family is so grateful for the care and compassion he received from the Hospice staff. He was deeply loved and will be missed by many. Kay, I am so sorry to read of the passing of your Dad. He was always so friendly and I had missed seeing him and you too. You have wonderful memories to hold on to. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers during this trying time. Marsha Chastain
