George Washington Topping Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1939 - 2024 George Washington Topping, 85, of Barboursville, WV, passed away June 11, 2024. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Minister John Steele. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. He was born April 4, 1939 in Pecks Mill, WV, a son of the late Nathan and Gracie Pack Topping. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Vietnam War. He was a Church of Christ Minister for over 65 years at several locations. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Natalie Walters. He is survived by his wife, Crysteen Webb Topping; one daughter, Brenda Triplett (Dwight) of Barboursville; one son, George N. Topping of Huntington; one granddaughter, Amber Boland (Eli); and three great-grandchildren, Cole Black, Brody Boland and Novella Boland. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Bro. George and Chrysteen worked with our congregation for several years and it was such a pleasure to have them as part of our family. We remember the wonderful lessons he preached and also the fun we had with Chrysteen at Ladies' Retreat and other activities. Love their family. Our love and prayers are with you and all of your family Chrysteen during this difficult time.
