Mary Ellen Woodard, 92, of Milton, W.Va. passed away on Monday June 10, 2024 in St. Mary’s Medical Center after a short illness. She was born February 23, 1932, in Cabell County, WVa., to the late Charlie and Ilma Woodard. She was also preceded in death by four brothers Clint, William, Buck and Jack Woodard; nephew Kelly J. Woodard; and four sisters Frances, Edith, Mildred and Elsie. She is survived by her two sisters Beverly and Pat; nephew Tracy Woodard (Kelly Jo) of Milton, W.Va. She is also survived by Steven, Dezmond, Austin Woodard, Lyndsi (Chris) Monsell, Cameron and Mike Jackson; several other nephews, nieces, cousins and friends; and her best friend Bella. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, WV, with Pastor James Jobe officiating. Burial will follow in Culloden Cemetery. Friends may visit from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
