Anna Lee Adkins, 81, of Waco, Ky., passed away Monday, August 26, 2024. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Jim Carter. Burial will be in Gill Cemetery. She was born December 13, 1942 in Harts, WV, a daughter of the late Edison Ferguson and Armildia Porter Ferguson. She was a member of the Lioness Club of Shelby Township, MI. She enjoyed entertaining the children being a clown as “Anna Banana”. She loved quilting, crocheting, and was a beautiful social butterfly who never knew a stranger, that always had a smile and hello for everyone. Anna never missed sending a birthday card. She made many friends at church and during her five years of dialysis. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Albert Kendall Adkins; children, Kendall Adkins (Connie), Kay Chilcott (Mike), and Chris Adkins (Vicki); grandchildren, Dalton Adkins (Christina), Vivi Adkins, Allison Adkins-Turrel (Chris), Mike Chilcott (Tarrah), Shane Chilcott (Tammi), Danielle Morris (Joey), Kristen Duchene (Jason), Vanessa Adkins (Derek), Garrett Adkins, and Austin Adkins (Miranda); great-grandchildren, Willow, Iva, Lily, Sierra, Shane Jr., Logan, Savanna, Juliana, Vivian, and Micah; siblings, Carol Chapman, Buddy Ferguson and Pam Mullins; and nieces and nephews.
