Marcella Butcher O’Lynn, 88, of Barboursville, passed away September 21, 2024 went to be with the Lord and be reunited with her husband of 69 years, James O’Lynn. She was a daughter of the late Otis and Maggie Wood Butcher. She was also preceded in death by her son , James H. O’Lynn, Jr.; daughter, Sherri Gail Eplin; brothers, Emmitt and Maxie McCray, William Lee, Perry and Paul Butcher. She is survived by brothers-in-law, William Tanner, Rev. Richard (Jennie Lou) Tanner; sister-in-law, Sandra (David) Martin; grandsons, Jamie and Brandon O’Lynn, Chris (Nicole) and J.R. (Jordyn) Eplin; daughter-in-law, Barbara and son-in-law, Dwane Eplin; special friends, Don and Lynett Davis and their children, Carrie and Donnie; John and Christy Snodgrass; and a "Slew of great-grandchildren and a Passel of Friends". Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery.
