Wanda Lou Bolen Dingess, 78, of Huntington, went home to be with her beloved husband Philip Dingess of 55 years on September 21, 2024. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2024 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel in Barboursville, by Rev. Roger Mooney and Rev. James Bolen. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born June 26, 1946, in Huntington, to the late Elisha and Jewel Bolen. She was a member of the Kellogg Independent Holiness Church of God and the ladies auxiliary. She was the former owner of Adams Avenue Floral for 24 years and also retired from The Greater Huntington Theater Corporation and the Piedmont Pantry. She is preceded in death by her son-in-law Brian Wilson, daughter-in-law Anita Dingess, uncle and aunt, Clyde and Sylvia Dingess and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Maggie McNeely, Curtis and Betty Bolen, George and Wendy Bolen, Vernon and Mary Bolen, Donald and Julia Bolen, Richard and Micki Bolen, William Cignoni and Arthur Bolen. She is survived by her daughter Juanita Wilson (Bruce Craft) of Huntington; son and daughter-in-law, Philip Dingess Jr. and Amé Alvarez of Palm Coast, FL; four grandchildren, Ashley & James Hamlin, Mary & RJ Mills, Glenn & Emily Wilson, Deanna & William Becker; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Linda Watts, brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Lynn Bolen, Jack and Myrna Arrowood, Norma Cignoni; and her lovable fur babies. Pallbearers will be Philip Dingess Jr., Bruce Craft, James Hamlin, George Bolen Jr., Billy Bloomfield, and Lonny Muncy.
