Melissa Dawn Salmons of Milton, WV, passed away on September 30, 2024. She was born November 20, 1973. Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Herman Johnson. She is survived by her mother, Clara Kelley Johnson; daughter, Amber (Marcus) Thompson of West Hamlin, WV; son, Hunter (Dena) Salmons of Buffalo, WV; three grandsons, Sawyer Thompson, Levi Thompson and Griffin Salmons; three brothers, Dwaine, Herman and Keith Johnson; three sisters, Yvonne (Bill) Yeager, Kathy Johnson Neal and Leshia (Pastor David) Vickers. She was a member of Portersville Missionary Baptist Church. Melissa loved her family and being outdoors. She always enjoyed fishing, four wheeling and loved playing baseball growing up. She will be missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton by Pastor David Vickers.
