Jonathan Michael “Jon” Howerton, 48, of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens. He was born August 6, 1977, in Huntington, a son of Michael Howerton of Huntington and Brenda Adkins of Huntington. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Candace Skaggs; one daughter, Kimberly Howerton; sisters, Trina Townsend, Katie Zeuner, Andrea Adkins, Crystal Adkins, Brittany Adkins, and Jessica Howerton; brothers, Randy Adkins Jr., Randy Adkins II, Josh Howerton and Jason Howerton; one grandchild, Kennedy Cremeans, and a little sister Desaree Adkins; a host of nieces and nephews and a special nephew Charles Booth.
