Joyce Carol Garrett Edwards, daughter of the late Wilburn and Roxie Belle Edwards, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest E Edwards. They were married in 1953. Joyce attended Milton High School and graduated from Marshall University with a degree in business. Joyce was also preceded in death by one brother, John (Linda) Garrett and one sister, Jean Ramsey. She is survived by daughters, Natalie (Rex) Dillinger, Melissa (Travis) Goodwin, son, Dwight (Toni) Edwards and brother-in-law, Scott Ramsey. Joyce is also survived by three grandsons, Benjamin Dillinger, Jacob (Jordan) Dillinger, Johnathan Edwards, and two great-grandchildren, Griffen Dillinger and Gwendolyn Dillinger. Joyce was known for her crafts, her spirit of volunteering to help others, and especially her cooking. Graveside services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024 at Valley View Memorial Park in Hurricane, by Rev. Allen Stewart. Friends and family may gather a few minutes ahead before service. The family wishes to thank special friends and family, the Reynolds Family, Kathy Lawhon, Susan Reynolds, Tammy Edwards, the Jack Chapman family, and her wonderful caregivers from Hospice of Huntington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington. Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, is assisting the family.
