Diana Colleen Johnson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and educator, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on November 17, 1948, Diana devoted her life to nurturing young minds and enriching the lives of those around her.

Diana was the cherished wife of Curtis Johnson, with whom she shared 54 years filled with love and companionship. She is survived by her daughter, Ginger Fife; son-in-law, JK Fife; grandchildren, Lauren Fife and Jacob Fife; and her chihuahua, Tiki. Diana's family was the center of her world, and she took immense joy in spending time with them, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Diana dedicated 33 years of her life to teaching, shaping the minds and hearts of countless children and instilling in them the lifelong gift of reading. Her passion for education and her commitment to her students left an indelible mark on the community, inspiring generations of learners.

Beyond her career, Diana found joy in traveling to new places, tending to her collection of houseplants, and spending quality time with her family. She treasured her daily walks with her husband and Tiki, finding peace and happiness in those shared moments.

Diana’s legacy is one of inspiration and dedication. She touched the lives of so many through her kindness, her pursuit and support of education, and her love for her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her resilience, loyalty, and unwavering spirit.

A celebration of Diana’s life will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 with a visitation from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, followed by a 2 p.m. graveside service at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington.
