 Nancy Sue Carter, 78, of Barboursville, WV, passed away January 11, 2025. She was born April 30, 1946, in Huntington, WV, daughter of the late Billy Everett "Bill" Dillon and Earsie Johnson Dillon. She was also preceded in death by her husband Jerry Carter and sister Judy Jobe. She is survived by two sons Shane Carter (Kelly) and Shannon Carter (Elizabeth Bartram); one sister Billie Jo Holtz; brother-in-law Charlie Jobe; six grandchildren Shaina, Cody, Gabbi, Carson, Dylan and Talan; and three great grandchildren Jackson, Wren and Crew. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Kim Stone. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. I was so sorry to hear this. I have such fond memories of her and Mom making Christmas Candy. We all still have make Nancy's brownies.

Shane & Shannon, I am so very sorry to hear about your dear mother’s death. As you know, Nancy and my wife, Karen, were friends of many years standing. My memories of your mom and dad are pleasant. God Bless you both and your families.
