Melvin Michael “Mike” Meade, 75, of Salt Rock, WV, passed away March 4, 2025 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Ron Donahoe and Rev. Johnny Gue. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock. He was born November 8, 1949, in Huntington, a son of the late Melvin and Alberta Nelson Meade. He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Beckett Meade and sister, Linda Diane Meade. Mike attended Upper Smith Creek United Baptist Church and he retired from E-Z Electric. He is survived by one brother, Randall A. Meade of Huntington; niece, Tammy Kincaid; nephew, Timothy Ray Meade; great-nieces, Emily-Dawn Taylor and Hannah Meade; great-nephew, Zachary Randall Meade; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rick and Tammy Beckett; nephew, Brandon Beckett; great-niece and great-nephew, Lilly and Dawson Beckett; special cousin, Teresa Eaton and her grandson, Xavier. Mike was a gentle soul who was kind to everyone he knew. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
