
Paul W. Luther, 76, of Huntington, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born March 25, 1948, in Kenova. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Davis Luther and his second wife, Herise Nash Luther, father John Luther and a brother Jerry Luther. He is survived by his mother Eloise Luther of Logan; sisters Avonell (Dan) George of Texas and Teresa (Darrell) Townsend of Logan; brothers Ronald Luther of Ironton, OH, and Kevin (Teresa) Luther of Logan; his children, a son Michael (Greta) Luther, daughters Christina (Todd) Chow, Tina (Ray) Steele and Nikki Nash all of Huntington; granddaughters Tabitha Morrison of Kenova, Jade Nash and Kallie Steele both of Huntington; great-grandson Cameron Harper of Kenova and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends he loved dearly. He was a member of Gethsemane United Baptist Church. He enjoyed being a Sunday School teacher for over forty years. He was very independent and a hard worker, always ready for a new challenge. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Tom Jones, Pastor Jason Hogsett and Elder John Gilkerson. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post #139, Milton.
