It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Maynard, a devoted wife, mother, and cherished pillar of our community. Born on April 18, 1947, Patricia leaves behind a legacy of memories, kindness, laughter, and unwavering support of her friends and family. Patricia was a true friend to many, always ready with a helping hand, a prayer and a warm smile. A member of The Church of Christ since she was 10 years old, she had a passion for loving God and her family and she shared that joy with everyone around her. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Delbert Maynard and her loving son Matthew Maynard and a special dog (Angel) and all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emery and Orpha (Carey) Newton, her brother and sister-in-law Irvin and Judy Newton, a son Jason Maynard, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Stephen and Elsie Maynard. Graveside services will be conducted by Bob Hayes and Amos Prince on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is assisting the family.
