Carol Jean Woody, 78, of Ona, WV, passed away April 6, 2025. She was born March 7, 1947, in Barboursville, WV, daughter of the late Carroll and Beulah Burks Collins. She is also preceded in death by two brothers John Collins and Jack Collins. She worked 13 years at Morris Memorial Nursing Home and the Barboursville Veterans Home for 10 years. She is survived by her husband Garry Woody; two daughters Becky Ann Woody of Ona and Shelia Ann Yates (Christopher) of Martinsburg, WV; one son Jerry Lee Woody of Huntington; four grandchildren Karry Woody, Sara Nolan (Patrick), Mariah Woody, and Samantha Wagner (Dakota); and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Tim Messinger. Burial will be at Forest Memorial Park, Milton.
