1937 - 2025
 Helen Claire Hoskins Noe of Ona, WV, passed away May 17, 2025 in the loving arms of her husband. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2025 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, by Rev. Cinda Harkless. Burial will follow in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar. She was born July 10, 1937, in Red Jacket, WV, a daughter of the late Remine and Nell Hoskins. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Nursing School in 1958, and was a retired Certified Registered Nurse, very skilled in psychiatric care. She was a faithful member of Kuhn Memorial Presbyterian Church for 51 years, where she served on numerous committees, was an elder, a deacon, a Sunday school teacher and proud member of the Women of the Church. She enjoyed a community book club, with many close friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, John Hoskins (Rita). She is survived by her husband of nearly 67 years, Berman H. Noe; daughter, Kimberly Noe Gibbs (John); son, Brian K. Noe (Sherry); grandchildren, Ashley Claire Upchurch-Kreykes (Daniel), Tyler Craig Noe (Nicki), Hayden Olivia Upchurch Barot (Samarth), and Aaron Michael Noe (Savanah); great-grandchildren, Myah Rose Noe, Lucas James Noe, Atlas Jack Noe, Noa Lyn Noe; and nieces and nephews, Beth Hoskins Jarvis, Steve Hoskins, David Hoskins, Sharon Noe Peoples, Brad Noe, Bill Noe, Stephanie Noe-Sherwood, Leah Noe Breece. She is also survived by many dear friends. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday prior to the service. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

I worked with Helen at River Park. She was good with patients and staff. She is missed but Heaven has gained an angel

Helen what a wonderful person you were to work for I worked for you at what was then 20th street the state hospital, now MMB Rest in peace a great nurse.
