Deloris Deloris “Sis” Eloise Keyser White, 89, of Milton (formerly of Salt Rock) WV, passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Medical Center on June 13, 2025. She was surrounded by her nieces-Jackie, Stacie, Steph, and great niece Sammie.

She was born on December 22, 1935, in Roach, WV to Leslie and Cleo Jones Keyser.

Sis is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Cleo, her loving husband Wandel “Peewee” White. She and Peewee were married for over 60 years. Her siblings, Betty (Louie) Hutchinson, Shirley (Lucian) Stiltner, baby brother Jack (Billie) Keyser, and great niece Sonya Simpson.

She is survived by her only child, Debra (Joe) Nance, only grandchild Joseph (Candace) Nance, two great grandchildren Colton (Jaden) Nance and Josie (Nick) Nance, cousin Bill (Marsha) Keyser, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Sis was a member of Salt Rock United Methodist church for over 30 years.

Even though she was not an official nurse, she fulfilled her calling as a healer and caregiver. Sis helped care for many families and friends over the years. Sis was loved by many and made lasting memories for all who knew her.

We want to recognize and give special thanks to Carla Blake for all of her help and the Salt Rock Sunrise Sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2025 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, by Pastor Matt Fulks. Burial will follow in Gill Cemetery, Salt Rock. Visitation will be from 11 to 1 p.m. Monday prior to the service. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

So many special memories. Sis was always there for our family. Mom's lifelong friend. My heart hurts for her whole family. So much I could and would love to say what a SPECIAL PERSON Sis was to everyone. Love you guys Praying GOD WRAPS HIS ARMS AROUND YOU. I know she is having a good time in Heaven. What a happy reunion. We will see her again one day.
