
Robert Lee Osburn, 39, of Charleston, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 10, 2025. He was born January 9, 1986 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of Marion Smith and bonus dad David Benedict. He is also survived by his wife, Dijen Osburn; daughter, McKenzie Hancock (Hunter) and grandchild on the way; sisters, Melissa Triplett (Ronald), Amber Allen (Terry) and Angie Perea (Angelo); brothers, Miles, Jon and Dan and families; nieces, Hayle, Cheyanne Allen, Emily Shaw, Justicia, Maddie, Brittany, Phoebe; nephews, Garren Cole, Justin Cole, Nememiah, Kenny and Sammy, Ben, Brandon and Robbie; Earth Angel, Lana Allen and his beloved dog, Otto. He also leaves a large host of extended family and special friends, Smokey, Shawn, Mike, Pete, Dustin and many more. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, Milton. He was an organ donor and went on to save as many lives as he could help. He also is giving enough for 76 burn victims, 2 for new sight, and a few heart valve replacements, liver and lungs for research for a cure for ARDS. He is truly loved by all and will be deeply missed! His nurses will really miss him and we want to extend our love to OPEN HEART RECOVERY. Especially Alisha for the countless tears and hours you dedicated to him. Jobeth for the smiles you brought him. Chris for the man that could just let them be bros. All of the CVICU DOCTORS as well as the nurses that heard a story about him and said oh I heard about you. Forever 12! Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2025 at Lighthouse Baptist Church, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2025 at Lighthouse Baptist Church, Milton with Pastor Tim Messinger officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.
