Victor Gale Freeman Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1949 - 2025 Victor Gale Freeman, 76, of Culloden, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 13, 2025. He was born March 16, 1949 in Milton, W.Va., a son of Corella Martin Freeman and the late, William Leander Freeman. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, William D. Freeman and Edward Tamlin Freeman and by one daughter-in-law, Candy Freeman. He was a 1968 graduate of Milton High School. He was a member of the IBEW Local 317 for 48 years. He was an avid outdoors man and was a member of the NRA. He is survived by his wife, Candace “Candie” Baumgardner Freeman; daughter, Karri Lynn Berlin (Matthew); sons, James Daniel Freeman and Brian Scott Freeman (Kali); brother, John Freeman; grandchildren, Jaz Stephenson, Brian Freeman II, Talina Tackett (Chase), Justin Freeman (Madison), Taylor Freeman, Elijah Freeman and Baylor Freeman; step grandchildren, Drenda Nelson and Josh Rose; great grandchildren, Melody, Oliver, Brynlee, Kayden, Annabell and Holden; step great grandchildren, Lamiyah and Mariyah and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Kenneth Estep officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Chris and I were deeply saddened to hear the news that my cousin Gale had passed away. We find great comfort and hope in knowing he is at home forever with our Lord and Savior. We are sending our love and prayers to his beloved family. “Do not let your hearts be troubled.
