Kenneth E. Zimmerman, 87, passed away at his home with his family around him on March 18, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Harold L. Zimmerman and his parents, Robert E. and Olive M. Kessler Zimmerman.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Sherry Chinn Zimmerman. His three sons and their wife's: Kevin and Tonya Riddle Zimmerman, Keith and Kim Mount Zimmerman and Kyle and Amy Elswick Zimmerman.
Kenneth has four grandchildren: Travis Zimmerman, Julia Zimmerman, Aiden Zimmerman and Conner Zimmerman.
Kenneth graduated from WVU with a Civil Engineering Degree. He retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers, where he worked on many projects. Kenneth loved boating and water skiing. He loved outdoor theaters and Marshall plays and others. He enjoy traveling with the group called Traveling Friends.
Ken was a Mason.
He loved working with his sons on their home projects. He was there anytime they needed him.
