Ira Edward GueIra Edward Gue, 84, of Salt Rock, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026 at the Hospice House in Huntington. He was born in 1941 to the late Ira John and Nellie (Nida) Gue. He spent much of his life in the construction business and built many homes for numerous families in the area. He is preceded in death by siblings, infant brother Carol Gue, Deloris (George) Pinkerman, Redith (Lew Charles) Burgess, Donald (Judy) Gue, Shirley (John) Jordan, and Sue (Larry) Brown.

He was married to the late Patsy (Gibson) Hazelrigg and is survived by their children John Edward Gue with daughter Edy of Barboursville; Raffaella (Gue) Johnson of Huntington Beach, CA with children KJ, Chase, and Alexis; and Sabrina (Gue) Ruth of Barboursville with children Joshua (Shelby) Ruth of Harrod, Ohio; Samuel Ruth of Barboursville; and Nicholas (Gabriell) of Milton; and his great-grandchildren Remington, Bearrett, and Hunter Ruth of Harrod, Ohio. In addition, he is also survived by his sister, Lora (Darrius) Hall; his second wife Dorothy (Ross) Gue; and step-children Robert Pullen with children Shannon and Hannah; William (Andrea) Pullen; and Melissa (Tim) Dewees and children CJ, Makenna, Madelyne, and Mason.

Services will be held at Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 2 p.m. with visitation two hours before. Burial will be at Green Valley Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
