Shirley Lynn Smith, 78, of Milton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on April 27, 2026. She was born August 7, 1947, in Huntington, WV, daughter of the late Malcom and Elsie Dailey Jenkins. She was also preceded in death by her sister Janet Kelley and her brother Forrest Jenkins. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Don Smith; one sister, Linda Clagg of Milton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, Milton, by Pastor Mark Hesson and Chelsie Gibson. Entombment will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday prior to the service at the church. Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
