Edward Joseph Martin, born on December 10, 1963 in St. Helena California, passed away on June 2, 2026, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, West Virginia. Edward was a man of profound faith who built his life around his devotion to spreading the Gospel. He shared the Word openly and touched countless lives with his beliefs, always seeking to plant seeds of faith wherever he went. Over the span of 30 years, he also worked as a self-employed construction worker. Edward will be remembered most for his vibrant, goofy personality and his deeply caring, thoughtful heart. He brought immense joy to those closest to him, especially his dear friends Ron and Gaylon, with whom he shared a special bond of brotherhood and laughter. Above all, Edward was rarely seen without his best friend and loyal companion, his dog Buddy, who brought him unconditional love and constant joy. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward, his mother, Patricia, and his brother Sean. Edward's legacy of faith, friendship, and laughter lives on through his wife of 21 years, Jessica, his children, Amber, Jocelyn (Clay), Jillian (Caleb), Jer, and Jaelyn, his grandchildren, Greyson, Amber’s children, and all who were blessed to call him a friend. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
