Pearl Jean Adkins Blankenship, 90, of Barboursville, passed away October 11, 2026. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel Barboursville, WV, by Rev. Jesse Lacy. Burial will be in Claude Adkins Cemetery. She was born December 8, 1935, in West Hamlin, WV, a daughter of the late Kisel and Corene Davis Watson. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Adkins; daughters, Beverly Albright, Diana Adkins and Trenda Young; one sister, Myrtle; and one brother, Dallas Watson. She is survived by her second husband, Boyd Blankenship; sons, Michael Adkins (Debbie) and Mark Adkins (Drema); step-daughter, Robin Brock (Charles); fourteen grandchildren;eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and two step-grandchildren.
