 Joseph Tagnesi Jr., 75, of South Charleston, WV passed away April 26, 2025. He was born August 26, 1949, in Anawalt, WV, a son of the late Joseph Tagnesi Sr. and Catherine Sera Tagnesi. He was preceded in death by three sisters: Mary Harshbarger, Josephine Dickerson, and Fannie Mae Rose and one brother Sam Tagnesi. He is survived by his wife Debra Tagnesi; children Joey Tagnesi, Jo-Cel Barker, Cinda Kelley and RB Ward; sister Teresa Osburne and brothers: Col. John Tagnesi and Tommy Tagnesi; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and the Gino’s Family. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He was an avid Golfer and loved to fish. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, WV. Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Huntington, WV, by the Very Rev. Msgr. Joe-Joe was my WVU college roommate and we shared many good times. He was a good-hearted fellow and may he rest in Peace.
