Matthew Shaun "Blu" Murphy, 41, of Barboursville, WV, passed away May 11, 2025 in Miami, FL. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Bob Ray. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born July 20, 1983 in Huntington, a son of Marty Murphy of Barboursville, and the late Lynne Hall Murphy. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Braxton. In addition to his father, he is survived by one son, Kaeden Murphy; three sisters, Shannon (Travis) Pinson, Ashley (Nick) Adkins, and Meghan (Donald) Edwards; and nieces and nephews, Camron (Madison), Kyley, Kyle (Chloe), Lexy (Brayden), Nicholas (Jess), Kade, Cailyn, Hannah, Haley (Curt), and Donyele.
