William Jeffery Knapp, 60 of Chesapeake, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on September 16, 2025 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born August 19, 1965 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late, William Crockett Knapp and Ella Marie Jeffers Knapp. He is also preceded in death by two sisters, Cornelia Faye Scarberry and Barbara Ellen Knapp. He attended Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Brenda Lynn Knapp; two sons, and bonus daughter, Brian Ray Perdue (Charlie) and Johnny William Knapp; five grandchildren, Shalie, Bryson, Addalynn, Harper and Brian Asher; one sister, Helen Riley (Gary); special aunt, Wilma Lee Hagley and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Pastor David Lemming officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Friends may visit from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
