 Amos Bennie Black Jr., 68, of Barboursville, passed away January 14, 2026. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Bias Chapel Cemetery. He was born February 5, 1957 in Huntington, a son of the late Amos Black Sr. and Gladys Faye Johnson Black. He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Black and his brother, Darrell Black. He is survived by his daughters, Krista Harper (Jake) of Ashland, KY and Sierra Collins of Huntington, WV; sons, Amos Black III of Huntington, WV and Justin Black (Danielle) of Barboursville, WV; sister, Janice Black Tomblin of Nashville, TN; brothers, Rex Black (Karen) of Huntington, WV and Lee Black (Joyce) of Proctorville, OH; grandchildren, Charles Black, Beckham Black, Jocelyn Parker, August Harper, Ashlynn Chatterton and Orion Mick. Justin, Sorry to hear about your dad. Bennie was always fair with me over the years when doing business wit him. Great guy and always enjoyed talking with him. You and your family will be in my prayers!
