 Betty Jean Meadows, 51, of Barboursville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 22, 2026. She was born February 24, 1974 in Summersville, WV, a daughter of the late David Bailes and Wanda Meadows. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jason Bailes and several loving uncles and cousins. She is survived by one sister, Yvette Bailes; one brother David Bailes Jr.; five aunts, Burdena Mullens, Anita Bleigh, Ruby Petry, Vickie Meadows, and Birdie Jackson; one uncle, Ted Meadows; two cousins, Samantha Ramsburg and Shyane Miller; a special nephew, Nick Bailes and many other nieces and nephews; and special friends, Judith and Brady Workman. Visitation will be Friday, February 27, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, followed by funeral services at 12:30 PM with Pastor Ron Lester officiating. Betty and I had many late calls working on problems together and we spent a lot of time together. I cannot stress how sweet she was, and how she was at her work. She was so willing to give her time to help others.
