Connie Marie Walls Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1948 - 2026 Connie Marie Walls, 77, of Huntington, WV, passed away February 25, 2026. She was born October 30, 1948, in Huntington, WV, daughter of the late James T. Welch Sr. and Doris E. Johnson Welch. She was also preceded in death by one brother, James T. Welch Jr. Connie was most recently a cook for American Legion Post 93 in Kenova and loved it when post members told her she made the best food. She had a quick and quirky sense of humor that would pop out when least expected. She was a talented seamstress and quilter who created not only countless projects for others but countless memories. More than all that, she was loved more than she ever thought possible. She is survived by one daughter, Carol Morrison (Jim) of Hermitage, TN; three brothers, Joe E. Welch (Bonnie) of Culloden, Terry Welch of Huntington, and Jack Welch (Susan) of Huntington; one grandson, Matthew Bailey (Shelby) of Huntington; one great-grandson Alarich Bailey of Huntington; and a host of nieces and nephews. Private graveside service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
