Linda Jean DeBoard, 75, of Barboursville, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born April 4, 1950 in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of Evelyn Hughes Starkey and the late, Leland Starkey. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Sam DeBoard Sr.; daughter, Kerry DeBoard and one sister, Sandy Booth. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Sam DeBoard Jr. (Mikyong) and Robert DeBoard (Tracey); sister, Pat Brumfield; grandchildren, Sam DeBoard, Katey DeBoard, Bryanna DeBoard, Abby DeBoard, Kaylee DeBoard and Benjamin DeBoard. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Susannah Missionary Baptist Church, Barboursville, W.Va. with Pastor Steve Hinkle officiating.
