1941 - 2026
Martin E. Reynolds went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 30, 2026.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Marty was a graduate of Glen Burnie High School. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the National Guard. He retired from NSA after 32 years.
In 1962 Marty married the love of his life, Carolyn Wilson Reynolds. Together they raised four daughters and built a life centered on faith, family, and service to others. Marty was a God-fearing and humble man who treated everyone he met with kindness, grace, and love. His life was a reflection of his deep Christian faith, and his favorite Scripture was John 3:16. He was always willing to share godly wisdom. Marty and Carolyn faithfully visited nursing homes, praying for the sick and offering comfort and encouragement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin L. Reynolds and Gertrude Reynolds; his beloved wife, Carolyn Reynolds; his daughter, Cyndee Reynolds; and his grandson, Joshua Prosper.
Those left to cherish his memory are his current wife, Janet Reynolds; his daughters, Terri Prosper, Tammi Little (Jackie), and Toni Beever (Keith); as well as L.R. Mayo (Cheryl) and Stacey Young (Dennis), who were a beloved part of his family; along with 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren who brought him great joy.
Marty dearly loved his family and treasured every moment spent with them. He enjoyed gardening, watching the Ravens and O’s. He enjoyed playing pool, a cold one and listening to the oldies. His favorite song was “He stopped loving her today” by George Jones.
Marty will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in the presence of his Lord and Savior. His legacy of faith, love, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16

Bub, our only brother and known to some as Marty, but always Bub to us, passed away on 30 May 2026. He is at peace now but he will be so missed. As the only boy in a family of 8 children, he will be so missed by all of us. He was also predeceased by two of our sisters, Lauretta and Joyce and losing them hurt us all so much. Losing him is another very sad time in our lives. He is survived by his 5 remaining sisters, Marlene, Carolyn, Mary, Beverley, , and Michelle. And so many generations of family members, too numerous to mention. We were truly fortunate to enjoy our large family and have stayed close our entire lives. That is a testament to Mom and Dad because they shared their love and happiness for life with all of us. We have felt so blessed. Bub was such a caring, gentle soul and always ready to help in any way that he could. I don’t ever remember hearing him say a negative word about anyone. He loved family, traveling, gardening, remodeling his homes, karaoke, and life in general. We will see him again and will co ti us share our great memories to the remaining generations. Love you Bub, your twin….even though we were born 7 years apart🥰♥️.

So many memories of fun times on Magothy Beach Road. All those Reynolds family cookouts and pool parties made for a wonderful childhood. The decades rolled on and the faces changed but anytime I was able to spend time with Uncle Bub and all his siblings (Marlene - my mom, Aunt Joyce, Aunt Carolyn, Aunt Mary, Aunt Lauretta, Bev, and Chele), was a time filled with love and memories.
