Ronald Lewis Adkins, 96, of Salt Rock, WV, passed away July 26, 2026. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2026, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor John Gue and Pastor George Leese. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock. He was born August 5, 1929, in West Hamlin, WV, son of the late Perry Green Adkins and Alta Jeffers Adkins. He was a member of Madison United Baptist Church for 50 years and a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He was also preceded in death by one son and daughter-in-law, Perry and Teresa Adkins. He is survived by his wife, Helena Hatfield Adkins; two daughters, Teresa Pack (Tim) of Salt Rock, and Ladena Johnson (Steve) of West Hamlin; one sister, Elfa Adkins Gue of Huntington; six grandchildren, Megan Midkiff, Breanna Ramey, Derrick Pack, Ronnie Adkins, Nicole Adkins and Krystal Elder; six great-grandchildren, Emsley Midkiff, Adley Midkiff, Kynlee Pack, Anna Pack, Madelynn Ramey, and Milo Ramey; and loving neighbors, Jason, Georgie, Savannah, and Aaron Pritt.
