Delilah Gale Bellomy, known by her friends and family as Midget or Midge, 80 passed on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 after her battle with cancer, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 30, 1945, to the late Raymond Eddie Cox and Alice Kathleen Cox and Lee Hughes. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Sue Vance and two brothers, Frank Cox and Eddie Cox. Midget is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Gary Bellomy; her two sons, Charlie and Treasa Bellomy and Bryan and Sandy Bellomy; grandchildren, Brittany (Mark) Langdon, Charles Bellomy, Cody Bellomy, Amber Dilly, and Jacob Bellomy; her three great- grandkids, Lyla, Hudson, and Josie Langdon; her brother, Steve (Sandy) Hughes; and Mark McClure and Larry Behealer, who were like her bonus sons. Midget was a homemaker by trade and made a loving home she did. Her door was always open and there was always a seat available at her table. She loved her family fiercely. She was an extraordinary cook and loved feeding her family and friends. She enjoyed crafts, decorating, and for years making candy. She also enjoyed riding around with Gary in their 1959 Rambler and attending car shows. Midget and Gary danced from their first date till she could only talk about it. They taught many line dancing classes over the years, making several friends who stayed with them bringing love, support, and food. A few of these special friends are Jackie Huff and Bill and Cindy DeJarnett. Midge surrendered her heart to Jesus as her Savior. Delilah “Midget” Bellomy touched many hearts and lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The Bellomy family would like to thank the Hospice team who took such great care of our Mom and supported us in this very difficult time.
